What is this job about?

In this role as Truck Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling dispatches to customers, communicating with them regularly to understand their requirements and ensuring all the processes in the transport chain are running smoothly.

Your challenges

  • Coordinate and schedule permanently deployed vehicles
  • Prepare freight documents
  • Analyse current processes and suggest improvements
  • Keep regular control of the operations ensuring smooth processes within the transport chain
  • Maintain regular contact with customers and with the company’s operational team
  • Ensure all quality standards, work processes and legal requirements are met

What do you need to apply?

  • Language skills: advanced level in German and Upper-Intermediate level in English
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in container transport/freight carrier
  • Successfully completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or a comparable qualification (Kaufmann/Frau Ausbildung)
  • Computer skills
  • Good regional geographical knowledge
  • Great coordination skills
  • Ability to deal with customers and service providers
