What is this job about?

As a Global Business Development Market Manager for the French market, you will manage the execution of the company's strategy. On a daily basis, you will deliver the objectives set for a thriving future of the company

Your challenges

  • Lead senior engagement with customers in-market
  • Strenghten the relationship with customers by regularly reviewing local segmentation
  • Deliver meetings , opportunities and strategic partnerships according to the KPIs
  • Provide ambitious annual customer plans in line with the company's strategy and plans
  • Contribute to long term opportunities and new channels for all campaigns
  • Develop and share timely data-based market and customer insights in collboration with colleagues
  • Keep the senior Management and clients informed about the activities
  • Take Key Insights into account for insight-led innovation as well as business development
  • Act as the voice of the company during conferences and seminars
  • Make sure that investments are in line with the the industry's best practice
  • Generate greater value for clients and customers and influence the relevant steering groups' planning process
  • Effectivelty delegate , set stretch targets
  • Mentor and coach for high performance team results and optimum learning experience
  • Demonstrate the company's mindset, values and behaviours through formal and informal PDP and PGP conversations and feedback
  • Manage assigned budgets
  • Participate in internal board reporting on deliverables and KPIs according to the company's rules and procedures

What do you need to come & join?

  • Language skills: Advanced level in French and English (C1+)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the food, drink and exporting industry
  • A previous experience in these following subjects
    1. strategic insight-led thinking and corporate representation or public affairs
    2. Leadership: cascading corporate vision and goals, while building team talent and competencies
    3. Management of high-profile innovative trade and/or consumer marketing campaigns and initiatives
    4. Building senior professional relationships with suppliers, trade customers, media & government in the EU
  • Budget management and Microsoft Office suite skills
