Our partner is a group of e-commerce companies in France, the Netherlands, and other European countries. They are opening a new B2C e-commerce platform in Spain soon. This is the company you will be working for.

Note: The office is located in Azuqueca de Henares. This cute little city is around 50 minutes from Madrid and 20 minutes from Guadalajara.

Job Description

In your position as E-Commerce Director you will be the right hand of the CEO. You will be in charge of developing and executing the commercial strategy, as well as the ones for the customer service and marketing departments.

Your mission: build an unbeatable team and raise a company from scratch!

Your challenges

You will be the very first member of the team. This means that on a daily basis you have to do every part of the job yourself. From contacting potential customers via phone and mail to building and managing your team.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Developing and implementing strategies, defining objectives and monitoring their fulfilment
  • Creating roadmaps and picking the right KPIs to analyze
  • Negotiating with suppliers and building strong relationships
  • Ensuring the correct execution of the service
  • Analysing opportunities in the market and leading an effective customer acquisition
  • Managing multiple accounts and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Dealing with multiple customers on a daily basis, generating new customers and developing campaigns to maintain customer loyalty
  • Recording any changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, etc.

Your main goals and targets look like this:

  • Building a great team
  • Finding new suppliers
  • Increasing the number of online customers

Your Profile

You will be a crucial member in the correct development of the project. It's important that you know exactly what you are doing and why!


  • Language skills: bilingual Spanish and professional English
  • 10 years of experience working in a digital environment (even if you started with internships, that's fine :))
  • 5 years of experience as e-commerce manager (managing high turnover!)
  • 5 years of experience managing a team of min. 10 people
  • Experience and knowledge of the following:
    • SEO
    • SEA (Google Adwords, Microsoft Ads)
    • Remarketing
    • Email Marketing
    • Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
    • HTML and CSS (basics)
  • Experience working in a digital B2C business


  • High motivation to set up all the necessary departments
  • Startup experience or entrepreneur attitude
  • Commercial skills
  • Great leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written)
  • You work with a client focus
