What is this job about?

In this position as Country Manager your goal is to open a new market and expand the company's business in Germany!

On a daily basis, you get in touch with potential clients via LinkedIn, phone, emails, etc. For now, you will be in charge of the full sales cycle! The latter can last between 3 and 6 months.

Your challenges

  • Define the commercial strategy for Germany
  • Source and qualify leads via phone or email (cold calling included!)
  • Connect with decision makers and nurture these relationships
  • Generate and manage a pipe of opportunities with leads in your CRM
  • Negotiate with your prospects and close the deal!
  • Take care of the account management part and keep great relationships with your clients
  • Hire a team to work at your side

A new market opening is a great challenge! You will need a lot of energy and persistence. But hard work pays off! In the end, you get the opportunity to become the Director of the company's subsidiary in Germany.

What do you need to apply?

  • Language skills: bilingual level in German & English
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Country Manager opening the German market within the SaaS/Tech industry
  • Ability to segment the market
  • Ability to prospect and conduct lead generation for partnerships
  • Ability to create a team (hiring)
  • Great motivation to go beyond your targets
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills
  • Wish to stay in the company for a longer period
